Normally I don’t add exclamation points to the titles of posts…but I think this one is worthy. Heck, I was clamoring for a Trader Joe’s in Des Moines long before we needed to deal with any sort of special diets in our house! Anyway, on to the details.
According to a press release issued by Trader Joe’s, reported here by the Des Moines Register today, sometime in 2010, a brand-spankin’ new 12,200 sq. ft. store will open up on Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines. Easily accessible off Interstate 35, for the out-of-towners.
If you don’t know what Trader Joe’s is, then start to get excited, because they have a ton of gluten-free food options at their stores, and have even graciously provided a GF list on their website. Go to traderjoes.com, click “Products & Guides,” scroll to bottom and click the “g” for “no gluten” to get their PDF list. Or just click here.
